CalendarWiz, LLC ("Service," "Services," "we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting the privacy of our customers. We only use the personal information we collect about you to provide our service and process orders.

Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time as indicated by the date at the top. If there are significant changes, you will be notified via additional notice such as login page banner or email.

What Information Do We Collect?

Information Provided By You

We store information you provide as part of providing the service and processing orders. For example, we collect information when you:

  • Create a trial calendar and purchase a calendar subscription;
  • Contact us for sales, service and technical support;
  • Enter calendar event, user information, email content, and other information during use of the service;
  • Submit information through a suggest event form or email signup form.

Personal information collected may include name, email address, postal address, phone number, credit card information, calendar event content, email content, IP address, uploaded images and files.

Automated Information Collected

Our systems automatically collect information to enable the operation of the service and to track service usage:

  • System Log information consists of standard server logs which includes operating system and version, screen resolution, color and depth of browser, access times, pages viewed, IP address and referral page used to access the website and calendar;
  • Application Log Information consists of summary data on use of the service includes logins, event edits, and emails sent;
  • Browser cookies are stored in your browser to maintain each session of use of the service including keeping you logged in as you move about within the service. We also offer an option for you to store a cookie that will remember your login when you return for subsequent sessions. In addition, cookies may be stored in your browser to remember some settings when you return and to make the service easier to use;
  • Web beacons are small images included in emails that allow us to track if an email has been opened and to provide that information back to the calendar user who arranged for that email to be sent. This tracking can be avoided by the email recipient by setting their email program to not load images;

What Information Do We Share?

Limited Sharing of Information

We may share information about you only as follows:

  • If you purchase a subscription we transmit your credit card information over secure connection to our PCI compliant merchant processing Sub-processor and do not store that information on our servers;
  • CalendarWiz employs Sub-processors to serve internet advertisements for our services. These Sub-processor may use cookies to track ad clicks and conversions. Information collected by these Sub-processor includes; your IP address, search terms, and web browser characteristics. CalendarWiz accesses reports of this information to improve our advertising investment;
  • We also employ other Sub-processors to collect data pertaining to usage of different parts of our service. Information collected by these companies includes; your IP address, web browser characteristics, pages viewed, time spent on pages, and links clicked. We access reports of this information to improve our services;
  • If we receive a request for information from a government agency and if we believe disclosure is in accordance with applicable law, regulation or legal process, or as otherwise required by any applicable law, rule or regulation;
  • Any information with your consent that your information can be shared. For example, allowing us to use a product testimonial from you on our web site.

CalendarWiz will not publish or disclose any customer personal data to any third party with the exception of the Sub-processors listed below. We use the following Sub-processors to provide our service.

Social Media

CalendarWiz offers sharing features such as emailing event information directly to an email address, downloading and exporting event information or posting event information to another social media service. These features are offered to enhance your intended promotion of your information and can be disabled. For more information on controlling these features contact us at Once information has been shared with another individual or social media company, the information falls under that company’s privacy policy.


CalendarWiz takes measures to prevent information about you from being lost or stolen. Calendar information can be made public or password protected private. Our servers are located in a secure, world-class, SAS70 Type II datacenter with eight internet backbone connections, backup power, HVAC, and fire suppression systems. All data is backed up in real-time, on the half-hour, and nightly to four different locations. Files or images uploaded to the CalendarWiz File Manager are not password protected. CalendarWiz takes measures to prevent directory browsing in the File Manager but if the link to the file is shared it will be open to public access. Sensitive images, documents or files should not be stored in the CalendarWiz File Manager unless you have added your own password protection to the file.

Data Processing Roles and Responsibilities

CalendarWiz serves as the Data Processor. You, the CalendarWiz customer, are the Data Controller. The Data Controller is the entity, alone or jointly with others, that controls what data is made available to our Service and determines the purposes and means of the processing of Personal Data. The Data Processor is the entity which processes Personal Data on behalf of the Controller.

You the Customer understand, as the Data Controller, that you are responsible for obtaining the consent of any natural person for the processing of Personal Data, for determining the lawfulness of any processing, for performing any required data protection impact assessments, and for accounting to regulators and Data Subjects, as may be needed.

Customer, as Controller, appoints CalendarWiz as a Data Processor to process the Personal Data. There are just a few exceptional cases in which CalendarWiz may also act as a data controller. CalendarWiz acts as Data Controller when you:

  • Create a trial calendar;
  • Purchase, renew, or update payment information for a calendar subscription;
  • Send an email or live chat to our support team.

Account Information

You may update or delete your information at any time by logging into your calendar and accessing the Account feature or emailing us at You may delete your account or terminate your subscription according to our Terms of Service Agreement. However, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes.


Most web browsers accept cookies by default. You can choose to set your browser to remove or disable cookies. If you remove or disable cookies it may affect some of the services features.

Sales Communications

During the trial period for our service we send you a few emails to help set up the service, remind you when your trial is expiring and to collect feedback. When subscribed to our service we send you emails regarding subscription renewal, features announcements and to collect feedback. At any time, you may opt-out of receiving these emails by using the unsubscribe link in the email or web page at or by emailing We reserve the right to contact you for non-promotional business purposes while you have an active account.

If you are a resident of the European Union, the GDPR law gives you specific rights regarding the processing of your personal information.

Legal Basis for Processing

  • To perform our responsibilities under our Terms of Service contract with you. For example: processing credit card payments and providing the requested services.
  • To contact you regarding new service features, subscription renewal, changes to our service and requests for feedback.
