Options for Viewing CalendarWiz Events on your iPhone:

There are two options for getting CalendarWiz events into your iPhone.  If you want to be able to add and edit events from your iPhone we recommend using our Mobile interfaceOtherwise, you can set up an iCal feed into your iPhone's native calendar in read only format.  Instructions for both options listed below:

A.  CalendarWiz Mobile interface allows users to view, add, and edit events in CalendarWiz via the iPhone.

Get to the Mobile interface (This is not an iPhone app):

  1. Open your Safari browser and enter the following link - be sure to replace "calendaridentifier" with your unique calendar identifier:

    http://www.calendarwiz.com/calendaridentifier

  2. Select the Mobile interface when prompted by your browser.

  3. The Mobile calendar will appear in month view.  Public category events will be available for viewing.
    Bold days have events in them and may be viewed with a simple tap on the day.

  4. To  add/edit events or view private category events you must tap to "login" to your Mobile CalendarWiz Calendar.

  5. Mobile Navigation Instructions:

    - Bold days have events in them that may be viewed with a simple tap.
    - Add events to your calendar by tapping on the "+" on the calendar navigation bar
    - Swipe navigation and navigation arrows allow you to go from month to month.  Tap "Today" to return to the current month.
    - Day view: tap on an event to view the event details and description. 
    - Use the "Done" button to return to month view.

  6. iPhone Users (Safari Browser)  can create an icon for your Home Screen: 
    Tap the "+" sign at the bottom of your iPhone
    Select "Add to Home Screen"  -> Tap "Add"
    The CalendarWiz icon will appear in your iPhone desktop.

B. Set up an iCal feed into your iPhone - this will be a READ ONLY version of your calendar.

Note: a calendar administrator must enable the iCal feed in your CalendarWiz calendar for these instructions to work. 

To enable your CalendarWiz calendar's iCal feed:
Login as Administrator -> Go to Admin Menu -> iCal and RSS feeds -> Click to enable iCal and designate categories -> Save

  1. Go to your  iPhone Desktop -> Click Settings ->  Mail, Contacts, Calendars  -> Tap to "Add Account" -> Tap "Other" -> Tap "Add Subscribed Calendar" ->

    For Public Category Events in iCal feed only:

    Where is says "Server," enter your iCal url - THIS IS CASE SENSITIVE and the url must be exact and with no spaces.

    Be sure to to replace "calendaridentifier" with your unique calendar identifier

    Tap "Next" -> Tap "Save"

    For Public and Private Category Events in your iCal feed:

    Be sure to to replace "calendaridentifier" with your unique calendar identifier and "userscreenname" and "userpassword" with your calendar login information:

    Tap "Next" -> Tap "Save"

  2. Go to your native iPhone calendar and tap to view "All Calendars" - your CalendarWiz events will be in your native calendar.
