Set up an automatic iCal feed of CalendarWiz events into your Mac's iCalendar

You can set up an automatic feed of events from your CalendarWiz calendar into your Mac's iCalendar.  Please note that these events will be read-only in your Mac's calendar application.

  1. First you must enable your CalendarWiz calendar's iCal feed via:

Admin Menu > iCal and RSS >
Click to enable iCal and select categories to give permission to include in feed > Save

The iCal link (for selected public categories) is at the botton of this screen. You will also see an iCal button appear on your calendar.

  2. Next, go to your Mac and from the “Calendar” menu, select “Subscribe…”
Copy the CalendarWiz iCal link and paste it in the “Calendar URL” area in iCal. Then click the “Subscribe” button.

  3. We recommend setting the “Auto-refresh” to at least “Every week” to ensure you have the latest version of the calendar. Then click “OK.”

The Calendar you chose should now appear in the Subscriptions section in iCal.

Note: if you need to include private categories in your iCal feed, there is a way to do this. This may be important for you if you are using iCal as a method of data back up.
