You can set up an automatic feed of events from your CalendarWiz calendar into your Mac's iCalendar. Please note that these events will be read-only in your Mac's calendar application.
- First you must enable your CalendarWiz calendar's iCal feed via:
Admin Menu > iCal and RSS >
Click to enable iCal and select categories to give permission to include in feed > Save
The iCal link (for selected public categories) is at the botton of this screen. You will also see an iCal button appear on your calendar.
- Next, go to your Mac and from the “Calendar” menu, select “Subscribe…”
Copy the CalendarWiz iCal link and paste it in the “Calendar URL” area in iCal. Then click the “Subscribe” button.
- We recommend setting the “Auto-refresh” to at least “Every week” to ensure you have the latest version of the calendar. Then click “OK.”
The Calendar you chose should now appear in the Subscriptions section in iCal.
Note: if you need to include private categories in your iCal feed, there is a way to do this. This may be important for you if you are using iCal as a method of data back up.
