Setting up an iCal subscription is a useful way to automatically feed the most current version of your CalendarWiz calendar into Outlook 2007 & 2010 calendars. First, you must enable iCal in your CalendarWiz calendar. With iCal enabled, calendar visitors to can subscribe to the calendar's public category events.
Enable the iCal feed on your CalendarWiz calendar:
Login as an Administrator -> Go to Admin Menu -> Click on iCal and RSS -> Check the box titled "Check To Enable iCal Feed" -> Follow instructions on the screen for customizing the iCal settings -> Save
Set up an iCal Subcription From CalendaWiz to Outlook 2007 Internet Calendar
For Public Category Events:
1. Open your CalendarWiz calendar and click on the Subscribe: iCal link below the header date
2. Copy the iCal subscription link from the Subscribe To This Calendar popup window.
3. Open the Outlook 2007 program and click on the Tools -> Account Settings... menu
4. Go to the Internet Calendars tab and click on New...
5. Paste the iCal link into the box for location of the Internet Calendar and click on the Add button
6. Confirm or edit the Folder Name and other options and click on the OK button.
7. You will then see your CalendarWiz calendar listed on your list of Internet Calendars.
8. Click on the Close button. Go to Mail view and click on Send/Receive which will connect and download the calendar entries to your computer. Click on Calendars -> Other Calendars and check on the box next to the internet calendar you just created. Your CalendarWiz calendar events will then appear in your calendar view.
Set up an iCal Subcription From CalendaWiz to Outlook 2010 Internet Calendar
For Public Category Events:
1. Open up your Outlook 2010 calendar -> click the Home tab on the Ribbon -> Under Manage Calendars click on Open Calendar -> From Internet…
2. Next, click on the Subscribe: iCal link below the header date in your CalendarWiz Calendar and Copy the iCal url .
3. Paste the link into the New Internet Calendar field then click OK.
4. Click [Yes] to the dialog box that comes up verifying you want to subscribe to it.
To Include Private Category Events:
To set up an ical feed that pulls private category events as well as public category events, insert your calendar information in the link below.

Note: be sure to replace "calendaridentifier" with your unique calendar identifier and "userscreenname" and "userpassword" with your calendar login information. This link contains your username and password; therefore this link should not be shared with unauthorized users. You can insert this link into MS Outlook or any program supporting iCalendar feeds. Your private and public category events will automatically feed into your calendar application.
