Tracking calendar visits with a redirect web page |
|
|
You can track visits to your calendar by creating a web page on your web site that receives clicks from your calendar links and redirects immediately to your calendar. You then use your web site traffic analyzer to track clicks to the rediret page as a measure of how may visits are made to your calendar. The following is an example of the contents of a simple redirect web page: <HTML> Just replace yourcalendaridentifier with the identifier for your calendar. After entering the above code into your html editor, save the file with a name like, calendartracker.htm and install the file in your web site directory. Then use a link to this new page when you want to create a link to your calendar from other web pages. Your web traffic tracking tool will then show visits to the new page which indicates also visits to your calendar. |
